All the above definitions are applicable to Blackhawk's philosophy of what service should be. Our insatiable desire to provide the best in mechanical repair to our customers is our #1 priority. Whether you be a seasoned captain or are new to boating Blackhawk will make sure all your questions are answered and that you always are given options. We provide service from the simplest tasks such as installing a key switch, to logistical challenges like installing an engine package 2,000 miles away! No task is to large or to small, all are met with enthusiasm and a willingness to do the job to the absolute best of our ability.
We provide service for the following brands, Mercruiser, OMC, MarinePower, Crusader, Jasper Marine, Mase Generators, Mermaid  air conditioners, VelvetDrive & Hurth transmissions, Mercury, Yamaha, Johnson / Evinrude. Service can be provided at our facility at Gingerville Creek Marina, or if your in an unfamiliar port of call, we can provide service to you at your site no matter where it is or how far. Its as easy as picking up the phone or use E-Quote to let us know what you need.
You maybe thinking, what does this exceptional service cost? We believe in trying to give our customers the most fair and competitive prices available, as long as it does not jeopardize quality. We work on a FLAT rate basis, which means that, somewhere, someone sat down and figured out all the jobs there are to do in the marine mechanical field. He then attached a fixed time {the amount of hours or fractions of} it would take to do that job, and published it in a book. What this means to you is that no matter how fast we are, or how slow we are, you pay the same price no matter what. So the advantages of the FLAT rate system is, if were fast your back on the water sooner, and if were slow {which is unthinkable to us} the clock isn't ringing up fraudulent costs. When you receive your estimate the FLAT rate hours will show, and your invoice will reflect those hours as well. No surprises means a long and lasting relationship between you and Blackhawk. When we quote you for a job, thats it not a penny more! Our word is our promise and bond, with out that we're just another shop.
